On the left is the monastery that we lived near in Kathu, Phuket. We could hear their chanting and smell the incense we were so close. In the morning if we were up early we'd see the monks going out into the world with a bunch of stray dogs.
This is the motorbike of a broom vendor. They have two types of brooms for sale in Thailand. One is fine, soft and feathery which is in the foreground of the picture on the right. The other has very stiff strands which might be good in gravel. Both are hand made. We'd see them all over the place.

Western restaurants tend to hide their bugs, but this Thai restaurant had a special aquarium for their 6 legged friends
