| Great Falls is a National Park along the Potomac River with part in Virginia and part in Maryland. It is located along the C&O canal towpath park on the MD side. Great Falls now has an entrance fee of $15 per car. Yikes. There is diverse wildlife even though it is near Washington, DC. There are bear, foxes, deer, the usual rodents, beavers, etc. | ||
