We went to Gaudis cathedral around sunset which accentuated the windows in a truly fantastic way. The light from that angle shown the bright stained glass windows colors across the large room. The light mixed with the various sculpted curves and shadows was very dramatic. Especially for myself as an artist the drama was exciting. We arrived in full sun and the light and shadow show continued non-stop during our visit. It's interesting to note that there were different colored columns that were subtle in the strong colored light. Certain areas the columns have a red tinge, certain ones are medium gray, and some are light gray.

I was successful in using the panoramic in a vertical manner in these photos. I don't know if the iPhone camera was intended to be used with their panoramic photos in vertical but it worked here and made a very interesting composition. Here the world was more vertical than horizontal. I did not imagine myself so excited about a building and found myself charmed by the cathedral and the park of Gaudis. Both had whimsy and playfulness, excitement at every turn. Sometimes they were crowded. I would have liked to commune in the experience without the milling crowds and associated picture taking. The spot near the front allowed people to sit in pews. The guards were constantly shooing people out of the aisles.
