Great Falls

	Great Falls is a nationl park that straddles the Potomac River. The Potomac River, named after the Potomack Indians divides Virginia and Maryland at the fall line. Along the river from DC to West Virginia is the C & O canal.

The C & O canal towpath is on the left.

I love days like this. Hot, humid and then rain. The raindrops breaking the surface of the water was beautiful.

Definition of placid.

The green of the spring leaves is gorgeous.
